BIOKET Digital & On-site Editions

April 28th, 2020

Dear participants,

IAR- The French Bioeconomy Cluster, organizer of BIOKET, announces that its 2020 edition, initially scheduled for March 10 to 12, 2020 and postponed to June 30, July 1 and 2, 2020 is finally postponed again to take place:

                                          March 16-18th, 2021.

We want to deliver an event in a positive atmosphere reflecting the Bioeconomy innovation and not one clouded by health risks.

The opportunity to meet and interact with an international community in a friendly atmosphere is at the heart of our value proposition, we considered inappropriate and unwise to hold such an international event in 2020 with the actual context.

It is a difficult decision to make but the health of our employees, partners and participants is our only priority.

The coronavirus outbreak stands as a reminder to all that the acceleration of new emerging technologies is vital for the world. It is with this in mind that BIOKET will continue to strive towards connecting the global Bioeconomy ecosystem, supporting the acceleration of new technologies from the lab to market.and securing an in-depth coverage of the bioeconomy. We will further the development of our online content and networking offering, enabling the industry to connect through new online tools. In addition of our linkedIn, twitter account, we will propose in a near future webinars and virtual B2B covering all topics of the Bioeconomy.

To thanks all of you, sponsors and participants to BIOKET, we would like to invite all of you to participate to our first Digital BIOKET from June 30rd-July2nd (actual BIOKET dates) free of charge, in the agenda we will have webinar presentations in the morning and virtual B2B in the afternoon!

There can be no sustainable economy without social and health protection of the people and the environment. If the analysis grid of the 17 SDGs allows us to understand the causal chain of this crisis with multiple repercussions, it also represents a benchmark development course for the post-crisis, especially for economic actors. The Bioeconomy can contribute to a rapid transition to a more sustainable and equitable model in order to avoid future pandemics.

We will come soon with more information on the program of our Digital BIOKET! Stay tuned!

We thank you for your understanding at this difficult time, and we look forward to welcoming you in 2021
